BYSA NEWS Season Opens Saturday September 11 If you have already registered, you should be hearing from your coach by Sept 3rd. We are looking for one more U-6 coach. Please contact the league if interested. First Practices will be held the week of Sept 6 July 1, 2010 BYSA BOYS U-18 DIV. 1 WINS STATE CHAMPIONSHIP FOR 2ND TIME. THREE OTHERS ALSO GO TO STATES Hi everyone. As you know, four of our travel teams advanced to the State Championships (the MTOC's) in Lancaster this past weekend. I am pleased and excited to report that Dan Famosi's U-18 Boys, D-1 team captured a State Championship yesterday !!! (This is Dan's 2nd State Championship squad.) We are all enormously proud of the outstanding young men on Dan's team. They represented our program and our community with distinction and they reflect the best of BYSA. Winning a State Championship is not easy and Dan, Asst. Coach Joey Silva and - of course - the great players on that team (and their parents), are to be commended for their hard work, dedication, and success. Congratulations guys!! The U-19 Boys (Medeiros) and the U-16 Boys, D-1 (Savignano) each advanced to the semi-finals (the "Final Four") in their respective age groups. The U-16 Boys, D-2 also had a good showing in Lancaster. Thanks agin for a great Spring season. Best wishes for a fun and restful summer.
